Our Expertise

These are a few of the highlighted areas of expertise we offer.
CRNA

CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist/Anesthesiologist) who has functioned in nearly all areas of expertise related to anesthesia.  This provides a wide range of experience available to and tailored to each and every client.

Obstetric Anesthesia

Years of experience in obstetrical anesthesia with thousands and thousands of cases.  Obstetrics is one of the most heavily litigated of all anesthesia specialties and my current practice of 80% obstetrics mandates intimate familiarity with standards of care as well as the latest practice guidelines.

Regional Anesthesia

Over a decade of experience with regional anesthesia in all settings for anesthetic purposes:  inpatient, outpatient, obstetric, trauma, and post operative pain remediation.

Inpatient Anesthesia

Inpatient anesthesia experience spanning decades.  The patient acuity is escalating quickly and Anesthesia practice has evolved to accommodate issues that are relatively new to medicine such as the rampant rise in morbid obesity.  Inpatient practice demands an in depth knowledge for the population requiring hospitalization as well as knowledge of the latest practices and practice guidelines.

Outpatient Anesthesia

Over a decade of experience with outpatient anesthesia primarily as a solo practitioner.  Utilization of regional anesthesia as well as advanced airway techniques are essential in outpatient anesthesia.  Outpatients present unique issues of pain control balanced with the ability to discharge in a rapid course of time.  Being aware standards of care related to outpatient practice is essential to patient safety

Independent Practice

I have practiced as an independent practitioner the majority of my time as a CRNA.  This specific practice model is becoming more and more common yet it presents a unique set of challenges for providers.
